I am picking persimmons this morning before the deer eat them and I am reminded. Some people are not ready yet, and others are ripe for putting to work. You have to know their fruit, and you have to utilize them correctly. You cannot make apple pies using bananas. You also have to check on them or know their season before selecting them.
